About Us

A New Congregation For a New Generation in Anna

image24

The Orchard is the new contemporary congregation at Anna United Methodist Church.  A completely new congregation, The Orchard is starting with a blank slate to design a worship experience that is free of pretense and is an authentic expression of faith in Jesus.

Designed for new families and people new to following Jesus, every one is welcome.

Authentic Praise; Zero Pretense.

The Orchard features modern praise and worship songs that feel natural to people who have never been in church and to those who been followers of Jesus for years.

Come as you are. Blue jeans and shorts are welcome, as long as you come expecting to experience God's love.

Worship @ The Orchard

Every Sunday @9:30am.

Maybe This Year You Can Keep Your Resolution!

Every new year, millions of Americans make new year's resolutions:

Lose weight, get rid of debt, be a better person, etc....

Gym memberships explode, church attendance rises, self-help books fly off the shelves ...

and by February everything is back to the way it was before New Year's Day.

This year, maybe you can make a resolution that you can keep!

January 13 - Resolved - The Cost: No Pain, No Gain.

January 20 - Resolved - Moving Forward.

January 27 - Resolved Together!

Relationship - Not (Bad) Religion

February 10 - Love, Not Judgment

February 17 -Freedom, Not Fatalism

Heroes and Heroines; Saints and Sinners

One of the great things about the Bible is its honesty about the people trying to follow God. In this 8-week sermon series, we will examine real people of faith, see the honest truth about how they failed and prevailed, and learn how to grow closer to God ourselves.

Easter Aftermath

Sometimes the biggest controversies among Christians relate to the Old Testament's rules and regulations. The church today still deals with legalism even though God made it clear that Christians were free to follow Christ unhitched from legalism and were free to live based on the law of love: to Love God and Love Neighbor.

May 12 - Foundation (Mother's Day)

May 19 - Breaking Free

May 26 - Growing Strong

June 2 - Finish Line
